About Human David

Born and raised in Iran, Human David's life changed forever at the age of 23 when he made the courageous decision to flee his homeland. Walking his way to Europe, he endured an extraordinary journey across borders, eventually finding a new home in the Netherlands where he became a proud Dutch citizen.

That journey ignited a fire that has never gone out. Since then, Human David has explored over 81 countries across six continents, documenting the world through his camera and connecting with cultures that most people only read about. From the bustling markets of Central Asia to the silent deserts of the Middle East, from the dense jungles of East Africa to the frozen peaks of Patagonia — he has seen it all.

Today, he channels his lifelong passion for travel into organizing tours, helping others discover the transformative power of exploring the unknown. He is a photographer, cultural bridge-builder, and storyteller who believes that travel is the greatest education one can receive.

"I left Iran with nothing. But every country I've visited since has given me something — a story, a friend, a new way of seeing the world."

— Human David

"The road taught me that borders are lines on a map, but humanity knows no boundaries."

— Human David

My Journeys

Cycling to Central Asia & Israel-Palestine

One of his earliest adventures took him by bicycle through the ancient Silk Road routes into the heart of Central Asia, and later through the complex and beautiful landscapes of Israel and Palestine. Pedaling through deserts, mountain passes, and ancient cities, he discovered that the bicycle is the perfect speed for truly seeing a country.

Motorcycle Through East Africa

Riding a motorcycle through the stunning landscapes of East Africa, Human David traversed vast savannahs, volcanic highlands, and lush valleys. Along the way, he encountered extraordinary wildlife and connected with communities whose traditions stretch back millennia. The freedom of two wheels gave him access to places no tour bus could reach.

African Tribes in Tanzania

Among the Maasai, Hadzabe, and other indigenous communities of Tanzania, Human David experienced a profound connection to humanity's oldest ways of life. Living with these tribes, hunting with the Hadzabe — one of the last hunter-gatherer societies on Earth — and participating in Maasai ceremonies left an indelible mark on his understanding of what it means to be human.

To the Tsaatan Reindeer Tribe — Mongolia

Traveling by horse and local transport through Mongolia's vast wilderness, Human David reached the Tsaatan people — the last reindeer herders of Mongolia. Living in their tepees in the subarctic taiga of northern Mongolia, he witnessed a way of life that exists on the very edge of extinction. It was one of the most remote and humbling experiences of his life.

Eagle Hunters of Western Mongolia

In the Altai Mountains of western Mongolia, Human David tracked down the legendary Kazakh eagle hunters — warriors who have trained golden eagles for hunting for over 4,000 years. Riding alongside them on horseback through snow-covered mountains, witnessing the bond between hunter and eagle, was like stepping into another century.

Patagonia to Alaska — The Ultimate Motorcycle Journey

His most ambitious motorcycle expedition took him from the southernmost tip of Patagonia to the wilderness of Alaska — traversing the entire length of the Americas. Crossing deserts, jungles, mountain ranges, and vast plains, this epic 30,000+ kilometer journey tested his endurance and rewarded him with some of the most spectacular landscapes on the planet.

And the journey continues. Human David is constantly planning new expeditions and organizing tours to share the world's most incredible destinations with fellow travelers. Every trip is a chance to learn, connect, and be transformed.

Photography

Photography has been Human David's constant companion on every journey. His camera captures not just landscapes and faces, but the soul of the places he visits. From the weathered faces of Mongolian nomads to the ethereal light of Patagonian glaciers, his images tell stories that words alone cannot.

His work is raw, authentic, and deeply personal — reflecting the trust he builds with the people he photographs and the patience he invests in waiting for the perfect moment. Each image is a window into worlds that few ever get to experience firsthand.

Travel Philosophy

Human David believes that true travel is not about ticking off destinations on a list — it's about immersion. It's about sitting with a Mongolian nomad family, sharing tea and silence. It's about arriving in a village where no tourist has ever been and being welcomed as family.

Having fled his own country as a young man, he understands the vulnerability and courage that travel demands. This unique perspective shapes every tour he organizes and every photograph he takes — always with respect, always with gratitude.
